My website isn’t appearing in google search results

So you’ve just had a new website, and it’s live on the Internet, but when you search for it on Google it doesn’t appear?

Why?

If your website is on a new domain name, then it can take Google as much as 3 – 6 months to begin properly indexing your website.

If you have had a website for some time, but it has recently been changed or redeveloped, it can take as much as 3 – 6 for your changes to be reflected in Google search results.

Even when your website begins to rank in Google’s search engine results, it may not rank well and your site may appear far down the list of results. Being on page one of Google’s results for your keywords is extremely important if you want to grab traffic to your website.

What can I do?

You have a few options…

We offer “Search Engine Optimisation” (SEO) packages that are geared around improving the position of your site in Google’s results. Our packages are monthly, and you are not tied in to any long-term agreement. However, we typically suggest a 6 month campaign to get your site onto page one for a chosen search term. Our SEO packages are priced based upon the complexity of your chosen keyword, but start from just £99 per month.

Any alternatives?

Being high up on Google’s search results is a means to an end: to grab traffic to your website, which should result in more sales for your company. There are plenty of alternatives to reach this goal. Our top tip is to focus on social media as a way to drive visitors to your website. It’s free to do yourself and can be fun!

But, if you don’t want to get involved with social media, or simply don’t have the time, we also offer a social media management service. We’ll run your social media for you. Prices start from as little as £39 per month and you can find out more information by clicking here.

Did you know that your website was built with SEO in mind?
